okays! erm. long time no post due to exams. to destress ii just did up my new blogskin. just in case anyone complains or anything again. ii wouldn't continue to explain or anything. so it's over so yup.

arghx. due to the fact that school's reopening in 3 days. ii had to cut my hair =.= and now i'm like. having extremely short hair and i'm super pissed. but no choice la. school rules.

went to the salon to get a hair cut today den he cut the hair at the back until quite nice liao la. den ii was like. hmmm ii noe teachers are very picky and surely will catch one, nvm, it's first few days of school ii think i'll just cut it short la. so ask him cut shorter and NOW ii am so regretting!!! my hair's like totally gone can grr.

WARNING: if any teacher still comes up to complain bout my hair i'm so gonna blow my top!

well. ii am not gonna cut my hair for 10 weeks. ii dont care wadever reason u try to make me cut my hair i'm not going to. and after ii get my hair back to the correct length i'll only start trimming and not cut fully liaos. due to the fact that ii will be having important engagements (dat ii will not reveal currently) at the end of the year. yup. so don't try.

ii heard dat chem test would be super hard cos they're seiving out the cream of the crop to do H3 Chemistry. ii really hope ii can do well in the test. sighh..

well, today went to the national stadium to get a tan la. =.- like real. my god. the sun was like FOC or smth. like super hot!! den ii was literally melting. went there for SYF rehearsals lar. den haha everyone there. ii dunno how on earth dey can survive such long hrs in the sun man. sheesh.

well. overall ii think it'll be fun. =)) can't wait for the Full Dress Rehearsals on 28th Jun yeapps.

oh ya. did ii mention ii do NOT tag on my tagboard? so yea. that zhiyang is not ME =.-

ii survived it man! super fun =)) well, at least for me hehe. actually ii blogged in the afternn about it lers, but the stupid blogger just had to screw up and deleted this really really really really long post =.- den ii was so pek chek pfft. haha.

but wells, hope it works this time round and yup. the famine camp really gave lots of insight as to how other people who really need our help survive ordeals, trying to be strong. as you noe, in singapore, we're sorta quite self-sufficient. den we take everything for granted. going on a 30-hour fast (not to eat) and engaging in various activities heightens our knowledge as to what people that really need our help go through every day.

in singapore, many of us have a proper home, good food, the ability to go to school and everything. yea. and you say, yea, stop preaching to us about this and that other people in other countries are suffering, we already noe that. Yes. indeed we already know that but what are we actually doing? nothing much don't you think. each and every one of us can do even just a little to help, for no effort is too small. well. think about it.

actually, the camp would have reflected alot of things through the activities. well, ii shall sorta like describe the camp in brief:

so 17th jun (sat), reached SAJC early to register. haha. ii think ppl sorta realise ii was there and were like hmm. hahaha =X i'm still trying to hide my presence. well then. registered and got a tag and then we went for lunch b4 the fasting starts at 2.

when the fasting started, we engaged in this simulation activity which was sorta tedious and tiring la. ii will continue to blog bout it haha. so the simulation encompassed 3 'days' each spanning about 2 hrs.

so on day 1, disaster struck. so we were like all separated from our families. my family name's Yakima haha, name's so cute la hahaha still got 'Ya' like 'yang' and the 'ya's dat ii always say. okays random =.- well then. so each of the family members have to report to evacuation centres. my family had 13 ppl la. then the dad (i'm not the dad luckily haha) would have to go around everywhere to gather up the family.

this simulation was sorta like to let u experience, even just a little, wad it's like during a disaster. people have to wait for long hours just to register at evacuation centres and families have to take like days to reunite. the whole process is very tiring and while waiting for ur family member, you would be like super anxious like, eh, faster leh.

haha, our father was like quite pissed cos the procedures of getting the child was super irritating la haha, see, luckily i'm not the dad hee.

well, in the end, we still did manage to round up the entire family (skipping a few details haha) and well, proceed on to 'day 2' =)

well, in day 2 and 3, we got to noe our family members (which is our groupings throughout the camp). gosh ii love my family can =) at least we weren't very dead =.- oh. did ii mention sheena went too! hahaha den she quite sad cos her group/family not that nice la haha.

back to day 2 and 3. so we had to like earn money by doing work at various stations and like hav to earn enough to buy materials to build a house for 13 ppl to live in and on top of that. we needed another $65 dollars! woots. dat means we needed to earn like around $90!! in like 4 hours la =.- as in the money's simulated money la haha but. ya it's still damn hard to earn.

like a job takes around 20 mins to complete and u only earn like $5. taking into consideration time for queuing up for the job and everything you can't possibly earn $90 in like 5 hrs?? woots. so we were like so desperate la. similarly, this is to let u experience the situations people in poor countries encounter. they were in desperation and thus, would resort to any measures just to earn money.

one of the stations was prostitution =.- haha funny. so like. it was so profitable la. like 5 min $12! woots. so like we really just had to resort to such measures to earn our money sigh. ahah in e end alot of ppl in our family came down with simulated 'AIDs'. pfft. luckily it was just hugging onto a pole for prostitution. now get wad ii mean by extreme situations require extreme measures?

and we like totally stole stuff la. hahaha. but it's harmless stealing la, so still ok.

well, besides earning of the money. we still had to build ourselves a shelter fit for 13 ppl woots. that's like really hard haha. in the end, we did manage to build a nice home and ii think we're really proud of it la! other than stealing 2 tables and a chair for it =.- hahahahhaa we were full of vices man hahaha.

but well, all in all, 17th jun the Real day 1 was simply fun =)) so yupp, after which, we tried to sleep at 12 =.- guys in our 'home' that we built and the girls in the parade square lar. so it's like under no roof yea. luckily it didn't rain. den ii was like sleeping at the grand stand cos ii thot THOT it would be more comfortable. but the stupid floor was like uber hard la =.- zzz and did ii mention dat the GIRLS dat sneaked into the area were CHAO noisY!? wat the hell. they were like laughing squealing etc. and up till 1.30am still havent sleep =.-

so haha, decided to call sheena to come over (sneak over) and we like chatted till 2.30 den decided to sleep cos it was less noisy then. so like dozed off and woke up at 5.30 the next day and well, had to go wash up and everything and prepare for another day!

well, 18th jun was sorta doing like CIP la, we went tampines to collect newspaper. ii tell ya, my family's super good la, damn efficient hahaha. =)) we like completed our 8 blocks of newspaper collection way before time ended. so we were like rotting and waiting for the lorry to load the TONS of newspaper and clothes we collected and our bus to fetch us back to SAJC haha.

haha den got ppl from the houses dat ii collected papers from ask for signature la. den joshua (our papa, collecting newspaper with me la) was like laughing =.- pfft. it's not funny

hmm.. after the collection. nothing much la, the entire 30 hrs ended with an hr's concert. haha, talking bout the concert. Joi Chua was there mahs. den as she was singing and walking down the isle she like spotted me den she went 'eh! is you arh!' in chinese la hahaha, den like sorta made my presence known to the entire camp XD ouch. luckily it was end of camp la so haha, still alright =))

after the 30th hour, we broke fast together and had burgers to eat =)) yay! haha burger king never tasted so nice before l0ls. hmm den went home and slumped in bed lor durh! hahaa

seriously, all in all it was just loads and loads of fun!

by 'defending dick lee' quoting you whoever you are. you are saying that he's mean or wadever? huh? ii really don care how he is in Singapore Idol? zzz. oh and one more thing. ii DID mention just buzz off if u do not like the things ii post. i placed this really big WARNING right.

today, ii shall share several things that ii seriously hate =.- since. seriously there are alot that ii hate la, but nvm just sharing the most. er. significant things =) !

1. people who think they are so good that they criticise other ppl, (who really might not be good) but ya. to judge liddat is being really mean =.= the least you could do is not saying right in the person's face or saying who the person is?

e.g. commenting on someone performing on stage having an ugly expression when you singing on stage have an even worse off expression or commenting on how disgusting someone sounds (which might not really be the case) as in saying that they sing really bad -.- when you sing way worse and off-pitch

ii mean. seriously. it's mean. and ii shant pin-point people who actually do that. ii dont even rebutt people who comment on people like that straight in their face. ii dont really even try to be subtle. but. ya ii do have to share =.=


2. people who make random calls to me and not talking into the phone trying to see if it's me? oh my goodness?

for one thing, you're not even supposed to have my number =/ ii seriously need some air. ii can't have people calling me 24/7 you know. i'll die. and if you do happen to call, please have something constructive to talk about? unless you're my close frend, or something den perhaps we can stone/idle/rot over the phone. that's. different.

if not. please. either don't call. and don't disturb.


either. they don't grow brains to think that this is seriously stupid. or they plainly just don't grow. oh well. no offence man.


4. people who try to qiang3 gong1 lao2. like this kinda ppl. ii totally. don't confront them. usually ii just let them wallow in their own thoughts and let them enjoy most of it, but most probably i'll be like =.-

e.g. having been in a choir and sang falsentto songs due to the fact that other people in the choir couldn't sing it, the conductor/teacher/oh ya wadever starts saying that 'don't forget that your falsentto is good cos you sang the song dat ii gave you!' after others comments that your falsentto is good. ii noe it's mean to rebutt on this but. =.- i've held my breath for this for like uber long? like. sheesh. ii sang the song cos my falsentto's good can. not the other way round. =.= like. please stop twisting facts. oh and did ii mention. it's very rude to qiang gong lao?

seriously i'm not boasting or anything *swears* but this sorta things happen in reality!! sheesh. oh no worries! it's not my school choir!! =)) ii still love my choir conductor from school yeapps. haha she's so nice!


5. people who do not reply messages/sms/calls/everything.

actually ii sorta am responsible for this also sometimes but =/ for me it's inevitable. haha. okays i'm just finding excuses. but ya ii don't like it when ppl do it to me. lols hate it. ii guess everyone has this on their hate-list or smth haha. seriously it's like. so rude! to dao ppl's messages!! unless you really hate the person o.O so mayb alot of ppl hate me =/ haha! so sad la!

hahas. not replying messages is like only when you go 'who are you' you noe dat kinda thing. or when u're er. not in singapore? haha


ii can go on and on and on haha but ii think ii shall stop here. perhaps you already hate me by now. but ya. if you're someone ii hate =.- or having such an attitude. ii guess ii wont really want you to like me either. ii mean? seriously?

actually i've sorta been trying to give myself some air lately haha, due to the very fact that there are so many things up on me ii might die of stress or smth (metaphorically =.-) yea. anyways! yesterday went to KBox at Cineleisure =) sang from like 2-7 uber long hahaha. really had fun. it was joyjie's birthday celebration la =)) so yupps happy b'day joyce!! haha

it's been some time since ii blogged and ii guess the upcoming weeks of the holidays will be extremely busy for me. not only have ii gotta finish revising the work for the upcoming block tests, practice my song for the SYF finale (no ii am not performing for NDP) and also handle gefang stuff (GeFang is my CCA =)) okays. so it's seriously very uber busy.

however, out of this extremely busy schedule (haha) ii have managed to catch a couple of movies in this 2 weeks. 4 to be exact. now ii shall give a recount and comment on the movies

Alright. so the first movie, the Da Vinci Code, seriously, ii din think the movie was that good o.o it was quite jumbled up and lengthy but ii do have to say the plot's really good. therefore, ii guess one should read the book instead of watching the movie. ii din read the book tho, that's why ii stayed thru the entire movie without falling asleep at certain parts haha. my frend was like somehow praying halfway through the movie or smth l0ls! okays kidding but. ya. it was quite lengthy. wasn't very satisfactory for them. the movie wasnt really good. but as ii shall repeat again, the plot is really good!!

hmm the next movie ii watched was XMen3 which seriously, since ii really love X-Men (but actually noe nothing much bout it but seriously wanna noe alot more stuff about it. mayb someone can help me by dunno? help? ii actually can't find like X-Men Evolution VCDs or anything in stores leh, help me find lehh haha. ii really like the show =)) ii love X-Men especially Storm and Jean and when Halle acted as Storm ii was overthrown WEEEE~~ hahaha like her very much =) anyways. this was abit the opposite from DaVinci. I Loved the Movie! my goodness. but sorta twisted. the plot. cos like cyclops is supposed to survive till after the Age of Apocolypse or something haha and stuff liddat and Jean also everything. yea. and since all these characters died =.- ii was sorta thrown off. Luckily Prof. X din die haha. =) i've been playing XMen(II): Rise of the Apocolypse on PSP lately and like sorta think that they mentioned that Prof X actually oversaw the Weapon X thingy? the one where dey mutated Wolverine to have adamantium claws and everything o.o ii really dunno but. seems scary.

anyways, to the third show! actually my favourite out of all 4 that i've watched. it's She's the Man. Seriously mayb u'd think it's stupid to watch such a show and everything but Amanda Bynes was in the show!! okays, off point but anyways! it was like.. fairytale show sorta thing ya noe and it was seriously funny. hahahaa! and the characters (all of em) are SO loveable hahaha. =) 'do you like cheese' ii like this line haha, go catch the show and see how it goes! =) hope u'd love it!

last but not least, ii watched The Omen today and thought it was like a DaVinci code show. like alot of plot very complicated but very interesting but conveying it through the movie sorta sucked. =/ it wasn't really nice cos of complexity and rushing through the movie and everything. but seriously ii thot the plot's scary o.o more elements could be included in the show tho. =) yeaps. that's wad ii think of it hehe


well, that's all for my reviews of the movies i've watched. sorta heard that Cars is quite cute l0ls. but it's cartoon =.= okays i'll see if i'd take a shot at it haha! wells, it's 10 o'clock, ii just reached home, shall bathe and get some rest, tmr should really get down to studying haha! so many ppl have done alot ler! ii must pia!! jiayou zhiyang!
